These solar collectors installed on the roof overlook the Gulf of Bothnia, fully reflecting the climate of northern Sweden. The customer is the local Renmin University. These solar collectors are connected to the heating network of the building complex. In the summer, when the heat output is greater than the building demand, the excess heat is sold to the district heating network, thereby increasing the profitability of the facility. These enclosed solar collectors have been operating efficiently since they were installed in 2012, even though they are in an exposed position.
