Our solar collectors are installed near public swimming pools. Before installing these collectors, the swimming pool used fuel oil and electricity for heating. The swimming pool includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the latter is only open during the warm summer months. In summer these collectors provide heat for indoor and outdoor swimming pools, they provide most of the energy needed to heat the outdoor pool area.

The maximum heat requirement for this swimming pool is during the summer when the outdoor pool area is open. This exactly matches the heat output of these solar collectors, because the warm and sunny summer months provide the most solar energy resources. However, in spring and early autumn, the potential output of these solar collectors is sometimes greater than the demand in the indoor pool area. In order not to overheat these pools, once the pool temperature reaches a comfortable 32 degrees Celsius, these solar collectors will automatically deviate from the sun
